Tri-X Technology takes industrial work the whole way. We design the mechanics, cut the parts, wire and program the controls, and stay on site until the line runs at rate.

Capabilities

Eight capabilities, arranged the way a job runs

Plants call us at one of four moments. Start at the one you are at, and we can carry the job through the rest of it without handing you to anyone else.

The shop

What we can hold, and on what machines

Send a model or a marked-up sketch. If a feature is outside what we hold in house, we say so in the quote rather than after the first article.

Machining capacity
5-axis machining centre800 × 650 × 550 mm
3-axis vertical mills1200 × 600 × 600 mm
CNC turning, live toolingØ320 × 700 mm
Surface grinding600 × 300 mm
General tolerance±0.01 mm
Inspection repeatability±0.005 mm, CMM

Materials and volumes

We machine aluminium, mild and tool steels, stainless, brass, bronze and engineering plastics including PEEK, acetal and UHMW.

  • One-off replacement parts, often from a broken sample
  • Prototype runs with a documented first article
  • Production batches to a few thousand pieces
  • Weldments, frames, guarding and fixtures
  • Anodising, plating, heat treatment and coating managed through vetted partners

Recent work

Jobs that came in mid-problem

Three short notes from the floor. Each one started as a call about a machine that had stopped or never quite worked.

Packaging

Case packer running short of rate

New infeed geometry, four machined guide sets and revised PLC timing brought a line back above its nameplate rate.

Obsolete drive replaced without a rewrite

Discontinued drive swapped for a current model, with a small protocol bridge so the existing machine code did not change.

Contract manufacturing

Fixture set for a thin-wall bracket

Five-axis fixturing and a revised clamping sequence held flatness on a part that had been scrapping at the final operation.

Why plants call us back

One team from the drawing to the run-off

Splitting a job between a design house, a machine shop and an integrator is where schedules go. We hold all three, so there is one drawing set, one schedule and one person answering the phone.

We quote from what you have

A STEP file, a PDF, a photo of a nameplate or the broken part in a box. If a drawing is missing, we reverse engineer and give you the model.

Downtime is planned, not discovered

Installation work is staged and dry-run before the shutdown window, so the hours on site are the hours we told you.

You keep the files

Models, drawings, schematics and source code are handed over at the end of the job. No locked cabinets, no licence to read your own machine.

Tell us what stopped.

Send a drawing, a part number or a photo of the machine. We will tell you whether it is a part, a design or a controls problem, and what it takes to fix it.
